Kane’s Hat-Trick Leads Bayern, Kompany Trusts Him

Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to a victory with a hat-trick commanding 4-0 victory over VFB Stuttgart, easing concerns about his recent goal drought. Despite not scoring in 350 minutes, Kane’s coach, Vincent Kompany, expressed no worries, highlighting the striker’s consistent hunger for success.

Harry Kane Scores Hat-Trick in Bayern’s Bundesliga Win

Harry Kane notched his third hat-trick of the season as Bayern Munich snapped their three-match Bundesliga winless streak with a 4-0 victory over Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena.

The England captain scored all three goals in the second half, adding to his previous hat-trick against Holstein Kiel and a four-goal performance against Dinamo Zagreb.

Kingsley Coman scored a late fourth goal, putting Bayern at the top of the table on goal difference.

RB Leipzig secured a 2-0 victory at Mainz earlier, with first-half goals from Xavi Simons and Willi Orban.

Freiburg stayed in contention with the top teams after a 3-1 home victory against struggling Augsburg, with Vincenzo Grifo, Philipp Lienhart, and Christian Gunter all scoring before halftime.

Defending champions Bayer Leverkusen rallied to secure a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at the BayArena.

After Victor Boniface’s early penalty was denied, Omar Marmoush converted his spot-kick to give the visitors a 16th-minute lead.

Germany midfielder Robert Andrich leveled the score before halftime, and Boniface headed in the winning goal 20 minutes from time.

Tim Kleindienst netted twice as Borussia Monchengladbach triumphed 3-2 over Heidenheim at the Westfalenstadion, while Hoffenheim defeated Bochum 3-1.

In Spain, Kylian Mbappe’s brilliant first-half goal guided Real Madrid to a 2-1 victory at Celta Vigo, maintaining the pressure on Barcelona at the top of La Liga.

Mbappe, who was excluded from the France squad because of a thigh injury during the international break sustained while playing for Real, gave Los Blancos the lead in the first half with a powerful 25-yard shot into the top corner.

Williot Swedberg equalized for Celta early in the second half, but Vinicius Junior restored Real’s lead in the 66th minute, lifting them level on points with Barcelona, who face Sevilla on Sunday.

Earlier on Saturday, Inaki Williams netted twice as Athletic Bilbao defeated Espanyol 4-1 at San Mames, moving up to fourth place.

Real Betis maintained their position in the top six with a 2-1 victory at Osasuna, handing Vicente Moreno’s side their first home league loss of the season. Meanwhile, Mikel Oyarzabal’s first-half goal secured a 1-0 win for Real Sociedad at Girona.

Juventus defeated 10-man Lazio 1-0 with a late own goal, leveling with Napoli at the top of Serie A.

Lazio had defender Alessio Romagnoli sent off for fouling Pierre Kalulu as he advanced on goal, but they appeared to be on track for a draw until, with just three minutes remaining, Juan Cabal’s cross was deflected into the net by the unlucky Mario Gila.

Samuel Chukwueze’s early goal was sufficient for 10-man AC Milan to hang on and defeat Udinese.

Chukwueze gave Milan the lead after 13 minutes at the San Siro, but the Rossoneri were reduced to 10 men when Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders was sent off just before the half-hour mark for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

Bayern’s Kompany: Kane is always hungry; no form worries

Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane entered the Bundesliga match against VFB Stuttgart with questions about his form, having gone 350 minutes without scoring. However, these doubts were not shared by his coach, Vincent Kompany, who later dismissed concerns about Kane’s recent goal drought.

“To be honest, I didn’t waste any second thinking about whether he scored or not [in the past games],” Kompany explained, as captured via @iMiaSanMia. “I know what qualities he has. He’s always hungry, even in training. Sometimes, we forget how hard Harry works for the team. He’s always scored goals and will always score goals. That won’t change.”

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker justified his coach’s trust by scoring his third hat-trick of the season, leading the Bavarians to a comfortable 4-0 win. It seems that a little faith really can make a difference.
