Therefore, a move to Munich in the summer transfer window now seems unlikely, reducing the number of clubs Barcelona would have to compete with.
However, Costa’s reported valuation of €40-50 million remains a major obstacle for Barcelona, who will once again be working with a limited budget in the summer.
If Chelsea and Manchester City are truly interested, they would be in a far stronger position to meet Porto’s asking price for the goalkeeper.

As mentioned earlier, Trincão’s standout performances this season have not gone unnoticed, particularly by one of his former clubs—Barcelona. The 24-year-old’s remarkable form at Sporting CP, which includes a strong assist tally and overall contributions, has sparked interest back at the Camp Nou.
As part of the deal that saw the Portuguese winger join Sporting on a permanent transfer in the summer of 2023, Barcelona secured both a buyback clause and a sell-on clause in the contract.
