Arsenal Eye PSG's Muani as Winger Teases Milan Move

Arsenal is reportedly considering a loan move for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani as the Frenchman struggles for minutes in his second season with the Ligue 1 giants. With Gabriel Jesus facing difficulties in front of goal, the Gunners are seeking options to bolster their attack. Meanwhile, a winger linked to the club has also hinted at a potential move to Milan, adding further intrigue to Arsenal’s forward plans as they look to strengthen ahead of the winter transfer window.

Arsenal-Linked Winger Suggests Milan Move: ‘Why Not?’

Lille winger Edon Zhegrova reveals his admiration for Italian football and Milan, leaving the door open for a potential Serie A move.

Lille and Kosovo star Zhegrova is keen on a Serie A move, with a particular interest in joining Milan.

“I have a fondness for Italian football and always keep an eye on the top clubs. I regularly watch Juventus and Milan matches, and in Kosovo, there are plenty of fans of Juventus, Inter, and Milan,” the 22-year-old told Gianlucadimarzio.

When asked about the possibility of joining Serie A, he responded, “Why not? I like Milan so much, I like Milan.”

Zhegrova was rumored to be joining Arsenal last summer but stayed at Lille, where his contract runs until June 2026.

The versatile winger has scored seven goals and made 16 appearances this season in all competitions, contributing two assists.

He registered an assist for Jonathan David in a Champions League match against Juventus earlier this week, but the Old Lady equalized with a second-half penalty from Dusan Vlahovic.

Zhegrova signed for Lille in January 2022, joining from Swiss club Basel in a €7m transfer.

He debuted for the Kosovo senior team in 2018 and has scored four goals in 34 international caps.

Arsenal Interested in Signing PSG Striker Randal Kolo Muani on Loan

The London Giants were connected with multiple strikers during the last transfer window. RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko was their main target, but he ultimately committed to a new long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.

TBR Football now reports that Arsenal are monitoring the opportunity to sign Muani, who may depart PSG on loan this winter. The French striker has struggled in his second year with the Ligue 1 side, having started only two games this season.

With Goncalo Ramos expected to recover from injury by the New Year, manager Luis Enrique has made room for his departure.

The Gunners are weighing a loan move for the 25-year-old, who joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for £77 million last year.

Potential Agreement

Arsenal has struggled with a lack of quality in the center-forward position. Kai Havertz began the season well with a scoring streak, but the goals have dried up for the German in recent weeks.

Gabriel Jesus is the primary backup to the former Chelsea player, but the Brazilian has had difficulty finding the net. The 27-year-old has been underperforming since a knee injury two years ago.

The Gunners are already 7 points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, and given their inconsistent form in attack, that gap could widen even more before the transfer window opens this winter.

Muani has struggled in Paris under Enrique, but he was outstanding at Frankfurt, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in his final season there. A move to a new challenge could offer the striker a chance to redeem himself.

Arsenal’s style of play could suit him well. Muani is willing to drop into deeper attacking roles to help link up play. He excels at holding the ball and is capable of creating opportunities in addition to scoring goals.

The striker has been impressive for France this season, registering 4 goal contributions in as many appearances. A loan move to the Gunners could prove beneficial for both the London club and the World Cup finalist.

Arsenal can evaluate whether Muani is suited for the Premier League before deciding on a permanent move.
