Juventus Target Barcelona Forward Salah Linked to PSG

Juventus are eyeing a 24-year-old Barcelona forward as part of their plans for the future, while Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is also attracting attention. The Egyptian star is being courted by Saudi Arabian clubs in addition to ongoing interest from Paris Saint-Germain. With Salah’s contract at Liverpool set to expire next summer, both PSG and Saudi teams are keen to secure his services, though It’s still unclear if a settlement will be reached.

Juventus Target 24-Year-Old Barcelona Forward

It was revealed earlier this week that Barcelona is one of the clubs keen on signing Jonathan David.

The LOSC Lille striker has been outstanding for the French club, but his stint there may be nearing its conclusion.

His contract expires at the end of the season, making him eligible to become a free agent next summer.

Barcelona Ready to Compete with Juventus for David

A recent Calciomercato report provides an update on Jonathan David’s future, confirming that the player has chosen not to extend his contract with Lille.

He will honor his contract at Lille and become a free agent at the season’s end, causing several top clubs to take notice.

According to the report, Juventus are particularly keen on signing the Canadian international. The Old Lady has already taken early steps in their pursuit, asking about his salary and contract requirements.

However, Juventus will face strong competition from their Italian rivals, Inter Milan, who are also eager to sign the Lille striker on a free transfer.

In this scenario, Barcelona might seem like an outsider. However, the Catalans have reached out indirectly to David’s agent, gauging the possibility of a summer move to Camp Nou.

Earlier reports suggested that Jonathan David dreams of playing for Barcelona, which could give the Blaugrana an advantage in negotiations.

However, Barcelona faces a challenging task, as the Italian giants may look to make a move in January to secure the player before Barça can act. It will be intriguing to see how this transfer drama develops in the coming months.

Liverpool Star Eyed by Saudi Arabia Amid PSG Interest

Mohamed Salah‘s future at Liverpool is uncertain, as his contract is set to expire next June. While Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with the star winger, they aren’t the only club showing interest.

Saudi Arabian clubs are also eager to bring the UEFA Champions League winner to their league. Additionally, Saudi Pro League chief Michael Emenalo noted that Salah wasn’t ready to leave Liverpool last season but suggested that a move could still be possible in the future.

Emenalo told The Obi One Podcast (h/t GOAL): “I think it depends on Mo. The stories that our teams went after him were true; it is true, and there was an interest. But just like [Victor] Osimhen, it’s ok for me to have an interest in signing Mo, but the club has to have an interest in letting him go, and if those things don’t align, you don’t have a deal.

“Fundamentally, Liverpool didn’t want to sell. What price were we willing to buy at? I didn’t feel the player was ready to come because he felt like he had unfinished business.”

A recent update from Fichajes reveals that PSG manager Luis Enrique is interested in Salah. The report states that PSG are determined to sign the winger, aiming to keep him at the highest level of European football.

Over the past two years, the Ligue 1 side has focused on nurturing young talent, but they also require experienced veterans to mentor them. A short-term deal with Salah could provide these young players with a role model, particularly someone who has won numerous major trophies in his career.
