Liverpool and PSG Target Barcelona’s €60M Star

Liverpool and PSG are both keen on securing Barcelona’s €60M-rated standout, with the player’s impressive performances drawing attention from top clubs. As both teams look to strengthen their squads, the 27-year-old has become a key target for a potential transfer, though his future at Barcelona remains uncertain, especially if an extension can’t be agreed upon.

Liverpool Eyes PSG Star for Potential Transfer

The Merseyside giants are making preliminary preparations for the upcoming transfer window, aiming to reshape their squad at the end of the season.

However, the planning process is becoming more challenging as the club remains uncertain about the future of some of their key players at Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future will determine if Liverpool need to sign a new right-back, but the club is ensuring they have backup plans ready.

If the Liverpool-born defender moves to Real Madrid next summer on a free transfer, Liverpool will lready have a replacement in mind.

The club is monitoring several young prospects but is also prepared to spend big on a high-profile player to calm concerns on Merseyside.

Achraf Hakimi is Being Discussed at Anfield

Hakimi is regarded as one of the top right-backs in global football and a key player for PSG.

However, a potential right-back shuffle next summer could result in the Parisians losing the defender to one of European football’s top clubs.

As reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool is among the clubs monitoring the defender as part of their strategy.

The Reds will seek a top-tier replacement if Alexander-Arnold chooses to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.

His attacking skills would align perfectly with the style Arne Slot expects from his full-backs in the Liverpool team.

However, a move for Hakimi could be challenging, as reigning Premier League champions Manchester City have also pinpointed him as Kyle Walker’s long-term replacement at the Etihad.

Even Real Madrid would be interested in him, but if they pursue the PSG star, it would likely be because Alexander-Arnold chose to remain at Anfield.

PSG Targets Barcelona’s 60M Euro-Rated Standout

Paris Saint-Germain has a history of trying to bring players from FC Barcelona to the French capital. Over the years, the Ligue 1 club has signed Neymar Jr., Xavi Simons, Ousmane Dembélé, and Arnau Tenas.

This week, Fichajes reports that PSG, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all keen on Fermín López. His impressive performances at Barcelona, coupled with his crucial role in Spain’s gold medal win at the Paris 2024 Olympics, have caught the eye of top European clubs.

Given his talent, it’s not surprising that these three giants are eager to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window. While López is under contract with Barcelona until 2027, his future at the club could be at risk if an offer surpassing €80 million is made.

PSG is Eyeing Raphinha for a Surprising Transfer Move

The Parisians have faced difficulties scoring goals in the UEFA Champions League this season. As a result, the capital club aims to address this issue next year, with Foot Mercato reporting from Spain that PSG has Raphinha on their radar.

The report suggests that an offer has already been made to the player’s representatives, including appealing financial terms.

However, the player is not seeking to leave Catalonia at the moment. Nevertheless, Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly planning to submit a second offer, which could potentially triple his current salary at Barcelona.

Raphinha has thrived under new manager Hansi Flick, recording nine assists and ten goals in just 14 matches across all competitions. This standout performance has prompted the player to pursue a lucrative contract extension, as his current deal lasts until 2027.

Although a definitive price has not been set for the 27-year-old, particularly if he and Barcelona fail to reach an extension agreement, Transfermarkt estimates his transfer value at €60 million.
