Milan Pushes Adli Out, Offers €16M for Kone, Signs Fofana Until 2028

AC Milan is making big moves in the transfer market. They’re pushing for Yacine Adli to leave after receiving a €14 million offer and have proposed €16 million for Kone. However, the club is asking for more. Milan has also signed Yousouf Fofana to a contract that lasts until 2028. While Fofana joins the team, Milan is also working on other transfers to fit these changes into their squad. As they make these changes, they aim to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.

Milan is pushing for Adli’s exit following a €14 million offer

Milan signed Yacine Adli in 2021, but he stayed on loan at Bordeaux for a year. Upon his arrival in 2022, he struggled to secure a spot in the team. It wasn’t until last season that he finally received significant playing time.

However, Fonseca’s squad list reveals that he’s no longer in the club’s plans. According to Daniele Longo, Milan is now pushing for his departure. While there has been Premier League interest, the most concrete offers have come from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

If Adli agrees to one of these offers, Milan could earn €14 million and achieve a capital gain of just over €10 million. Adli needs to confront this situation honestly, as there is no remaining spot for him on the squad list. It’s a fair but challenging situation for all involved, and Adli must make the best career decision.

In other words, even if he decided to stay and excelled in training, he still wouldn’t have the opportunity to play, which says it all.

Milan offers €16 million as Kone submits transfer request

Manu Kone has recently returned from a successful Olympics with France and is now concentrating on his future. It seems unlikely that he will remain at Borussia Mönchengladbach after this summer.

Reports indicate that the midfielder has submitted a transfer request. Borussia Mönchengladbach will accommodate it once a suitable offer is made. According to the source, Milan has proposed €16 million, but the asking price is €25 million, not including bonuses.

The report suggests there is a substantial gap, but a deal might be achievable at approximately €20 million. Despite the initial gap, this potential for an agreement with Kone could bring a sense of hope to the Milan fans. PSG, Juventus, and Newcastle have shown interest, though none have made formal offers so far.

Milan will need to make a few sales before the transfer window closes to finalize the signing. Three departures are anticipated before then. Additionally, there are no available spots in the squad at the moment, so a key player like Ismael Bennacer would also need to move on, although this seems unlikely.

AC Milan confirm the signing of Youssouf Fofana on a contract lasting until 2028

Fofana arrived in Milan yesterday evening and underwent medical examinations at the La Madonnina clinic this morning. After completing the medical and fitness tests, he proceeded to Casa Milan to finalize and sign his contract with the club.

Milan issued a statement on their official website confirming the signing. “AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of the permanent transfer of Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco. The midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2028,” it read.

Milan is expected to pay €25 million, including bonuses, for Fofana, with technical director Geoffrey Moncada playing a key role in the negotiations. The midfielder will don the No. 29 shirt, freed up following Lorenzo Colombo’s exit.

Fofana made 175 appearances for Monaco across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing 15 assists. He has also earned 21 caps for the French national team, where he has scored three goals.
